This is the last day of “No Name-Calling Week,” but it’s not too late to check out the resources on our library website “No Name-Calling” page. And, be sure to check the new link to the Barnes & Noble webpage with video recordings by noted authors talking about why bullying is so hurtful.
Congrats on finishing semester finals, students! Have a great weekend.
At the beginning of the school year, I decided to build Mira Costa High School virtual library content on a wiki site. While wikis are great for sharing all sorts of information, and especially well-suited to sites with multiple contributors, I just wasn’t happy with how the site was working for the library. I wasn’t able to create easy links to all the content in one place and customize the format. I have therefore switched gears and created a new website for the library at mchslibrary.org. Please visit and let me know what you like and don’t like, and what you would like added. I want to keep developing the site to serve student, staff, and parent needs, so let me know how I can improve it for you. Expect to see regular changes and new content on the site. And, do please continue to visit this blog for the latest news about the library. This blog and the new website will work together to fill you in on all the resources, programs, and events at the library.
