Last week at the MBUSD Board of Education meeting, the Manhattan Beach Historical Society (MBHS) presented their generous annual donation of funds for library books to each of the MBUSD school libraries. As thanks, staff from each of the libraries, as well as students from Grand View and Pacific Elementary Schools presented MBHS President Steve Meisenholder with thank you cards. Mira Costa is extremely fortunate to have $1,000 to spend on books supporting our history curriculum, and we truly appreciate the continuing generosity of the Historical Society for supporting our program. We will be ordering some new great books very soon.
